Habit Tracking Made Easy
New goals do not deliver new results; new lifestyles do. A lifestyle isn’t just an outcome; it’s a process. That’s why all your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results.
Embracing New Lifestyles Through Habit Tracking
One of the most important lessons you can learn is the importance of good habits, especially when motivation seems to vanish. Let’s face it: motivation is not a constant companion. There are days when working out on a rainy day doesn’t sound as tempting as laying in bed watching movies all day. Or instead of going to bed on time you get sucked into 8 episodes of Pretty Little Liars.
The reality is, motivation will not always be there and we need to back ourselves. Our habits are the building blocks we implement in our life to shape who we aspire to be.
The Power of Habit Tracking
Habit trackers are a simple, yet powerful way to stay accountable to the things you want to work on (or the bad habits you want to get rid of). They work. Really really well. We’ve created a free Habit Tracker for you to use below! Screenshot, print it, and place it somewhere obvious so you can look at it every day and be reminded of the person you want to become and what daily steps you need to take in order to achieve your goals.
Insights From Our Lioness Queens
Here is a list of some key takeaways our Lioness Queens have learnt as a collective on their habit tracker journeys so far:
  • Start Small
Habits like “read 30 minutes every single day” are too big of a commitment. Especially when you don’t already read. Big tasks like these tend to be the first ones to go out the window when you’re busy. So instead, start with “read 3 pages a day.”

  • Anchor New Habits
Attach a new habit to an existing one. Instead of saying “drink more water”, try “have one full glass of water before every meal”. This makes it more manageable and easier to remember.

  • Be Specific
Avoid being vague. Ensure you can physically ‘tick off’ your habit. Instead of “eat healthy”, define what this means for you. For instance, you could aim to “consume (X) amount of protein per day.”
Embracing a lifestyle of positive habits can lead to meaningful change. Remember, it’s not just about the results; it’s about the journey and the daily practices that shape who you are. With the right mindset and set of tools, you can build a foundation that lasts a lifetime.
